Installing on 64-bit computers

Installing the 64-bit BlueCielo IFilter on 64-bit computers requires that some simple manual steps be performed to configure the IFilter to use 32-bit components.

To install the 64-bit BlueCielo IFilter on a 64-bit computer:

1. Ensure that the 32-bit AV folder is included in the PATH environment variable. By default, it is C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Cyco Shared\AV.

2. Register any file types as described in Registering file types. It is not necessary to register av_IFilter.dll itself, it is registered during installation.
3. Configure content indexing for the repositories if you have not done so already.
